​​​​​​Batangas State University (BatStateU) is a multi-campus institution that achieved university status on March 22, 2001, under Republic Act No. 9045. As a multi-campus institution, it operates various campuses Batangas province such as Balayan, Lemery, Rosario, San Juan, Lobo, Mabini. The main campuses are Pablo Borbon, Alangilan, Lipa, JPLPC-Malvar, and ARASOF-Nasugbu. BatStateU, founded in 1903, is a top-performing institution in Batangas, offering engineering, accountancy, business education, industrial technology, and research. With 11 campuses serving 50,000+ students, it produces 10,000+ graduates yearly, and it consistently ranks as one of the top performing schools in mechanical and electrical engineering licensure exams. BatStateU, a renowned institution with international collaborations and industry affiliations, has earned accreditations from AACCUP, PTC, and ABET. In 2018, it achieved SUC Level IV status and a three-star rating from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). In 2020, BatStateU implemented flexible learning using Google Classroom and launched the Philippines' first KIST Park, addressing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 11, 2022, BatStateU was declared the National Engineering University by the Republic, highlighting its commitment to producing top-tier engineers and professionals for national development.
